Gala is Love 18K Gold and White Diamond Malinaltepec Eternity Ring

$5,500.00

A famous stone mask discovered in Malinaltapec in southwestern Mexico, dating from the peak of the city of Teotihuacán, 300-500 AD, is the basis and inspiration for this eternity ring. This extraordinary piece celebrates the tradition of divinity, allowing the deceased to enter the celestial world with the face of a deity. Cast in 18 karat gold, and set with shimmering white diamonds.

Originally hailing from Tijuana, Michelle Galindo moved to Mexico City in 2014 and set up a goldsmithing shop for her brand Gala is Love. Her playful fine jewelry fuses her northern background with her adopted home’s cosmopolitan verve, with a nod to Mexico's pre-hispanic history and iconography.
