Fortress of Inca Riri Bootie in Black
Fortress of Inca Riri Bootie in Black
The must have lace-up bootie, Riri is one of our faves, for all the right reasons. Handmade in Peru with sustainably sourced leather and outfitted with a low, walk-all-day heel, this is that go-to pair your closet is missing.
In 2004, Texas native Evan Streusand discovered his first pair of Peruvian boots while backpacking through South America. He was immediately taken by the quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship that went into making them. This discovery eventually led him to bringing these handcrafted shoes to the United States.
Since 2008, Fortress of Inca has worked with family-owned and operated factories and workshops to maintain the quality and craftsmanship that first inspired Evan more than ten years ago in Peru. They always ensure that the working conditions of the people who create these shoes are safe and that they are paid fair wages.
