Pendleton PS02 Navajo Dine Wool Blanket

$279.00

The second in the Preservation Series, this wool blanket is expertly dyed, woven and hand-finished in our American mills. This vivid pattern was inspired by a Navajo child’s blanket from the late 1800s. The crosses represent Spider Woman, a powerful teacher and benefactor in Navajo legends. Based on an original weaving in The Durango Collection, Center of Southwest Studies Collection. Each blanket generates a donation to the Native American arts, education and health. Unnapped; fabric is uncombed for sharper pattern definition. Felt binding. 64x80".
