This is a large, long, intricate example of the flat-weave Kilim style rug hand-woven by Berber women of the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Definitely the work of a talented master weaver, this rug is marked by generous and intricate bands of geometric tribal motifs, primarily in white, that come alive against a background of alternating ribbons of red, black and orange. This seriously sophisticated work of art would make a wonderful focal point in a living room, or as a wall hanging. One of the most intricate rugs in our collection, and one of the oldest.

Excellent condition. However, as with most antique and vintage items, slight imperfections are inherent and wear is consistent with age.
