APTOS: Aptos is a seaside community just outside of Santa Cruz, CA. Perched atop Monterey Bay, Aptos is home to the Forest of Nisene Marks with its giant redwoods and Douglas fir trees, and a stretch of coastline where forest cliffs drop off dramatically to the sea. Our Aptos fragrance blends forest, seaside flora, and warm spices together to evoke memories of this maritime enclave that is so dear to our hearts. Fragrance notes: Redwood, Geranium, Black Pepper, Turmeric.

BIG SUR: Big Sur is one of the most enchanting places we have ever been, and that's what keeps us going back year after year. This fragrance is the result of a trip we took to Deetjen's in the Spring. While we were there, an intense rain storm passed through, downing trees and temporarily closing down the road. In the morning, we hiked up to the bench at the top of the hill above. As it was pouring rain, the smell of pine, cedarwood, earth, and moss was enhanced by the wood smoke rising out of the cabin chimneys below. We've tried to capture that scent to share it with you. Fragrance notes: Oakmoss, Pine, Citrus, Wood Smoke.

JOSHUA TREE: The open plains of Joshua Tree, CA are dotted with enormous boulders, cacti, and the strange trees that give the region its name. Joshua Tree has always attracted artists, visionaries, and those who are drawn to the harsh landscape and all of its peculiarities. Our Norden Joshua Tree fragrance is a complex blend of dry, woody hinoki, resinous juniper, eucalyptus, and herbal desert plantlife. Fragrance notes: Hinoki, Juniper, Eucalyptus.

OJAI: The Ojai valley rests quietly in California's Ventura county. It plays host to many seasonal visitors attracted to its mellow vibe and many recreational and spiritual retreats. Our first visit to Ojai came in late winter, and the scent of decaying grass, forest, earthy balsams and resins, and the smoke from burning palo santo wood enchanted us. Based off of our olfactory memories of Ojai, this fragrance is a mix of balsamic frankincense, earthy patchouli, and the resinous citrus woody scent of burning palo santo wood. Fragrance notes: Frankincense, Cypress, Patchouli, Palo Santo.
